CNL Certification Statistics
The pool of certified CNLs continues to grow substantially each year. Since 2007, a total of 9,830 masters educated nurses across the United States and its territories have earned the certified CNL credential. At the state level, California has the largest number of active certificants with 1,520 certified CNLs. Seventeen (17) of these Certified CNLs practice in countries outside the U.S., including: United Arab Emirates, Alaska, Asian Pacific, British Columbia, Japan, and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico.
